PART 2: THE FIANCÉE NOBODY KNEW ABOUT

Chaos erupted.
Guests pulled out phones.
Whispers spread like wildfire.
Olivia stepped away from Ethan.
"Tell me she's lying."
Ethan remained silent.
That silence spoke louder than any confession.
The brunette woman introduced herself.
"My name is Rachel Bennett."
Olivia felt dizzy.
Rachel opened a folder she had carried beneath her arm.
Inside were documents.
Bank statements.
Photos.
A diamond ring receipt.
And one particular contract.
A lease agreement.
Signed by Ethan and Rachel.
Together.
Only seven months earlier.
The crowd watched in disbelief.
"You lived together?" Olivia asked.
Rachel nodded.
"For almost two years."
Olivia looked at Ethan.
His eyes dropped toward the ground.
The answer was obvious.
Rachel continued.
"He proposed on Christmas Eve."
Olivia felt her knees weaken.
The wedding planner rushed forward with a chair.
But Rachel wasn't finished.
"There was supposed to be a wedding."
She removed a photograph.
Ethan stood beside her holding a ring box.
Both of them smiling.
Happy.
In love.
The date stamp showed only six months earlier.
Olivia's father stepped toward Ethan.
"You lied to my daughter."
Ethan finally spoke.
"It's not what it looks like."
Rachel laughed bitterly.
"Really?"
Then she opened her phone again.
A video began playing.
Ethan appeared on-screen.
Holding Rachel's hand.
Looking directly into the camera.
"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
The wedding guests erupted.
Some booed.
Others simply stared.
Olivia felt her world collapsing.
But then Rachel revealed something unexpected.
Something even Ethan didn't know.
"There's another reason I'm here."
The crowd quieted.
Rachel looked toward the entrance of the venue.

A man wearing a detective's badge was approaching.
And suddenly Ethan looked terrified.
