While Hannah rebuilt her spirit within the walls of Oakhaven, Blake Harper was having his own reckoning. With Oakhaven as her base, she began to move through the city, not as a desperate mother, but as a force of nature. The city began to change around them. The people Blake had crushed started to rise, guided by the influence of the house. Blake, increasingly paranoid, hired security, moved mansions, and changed identities, but everywhere he turned, he saw the shadow of a woman in a charcoal coat—a vision of Hannah, but stronger, sharper, and utterly untouchable.
