Chapter 8 - The Foundation’s Price
The mission succeeded, but the cost was astronomical. The foundation was under siege. A shadow organization, using the leaked remnants of the Van Doren network, had framed Clara for the very crimes she had spent her life trying to eradicate.
Public opinion turned. Headlines that once hailed her as a savior now painted her as a criminal mastermind who had "stolen" the empire. Clara sat in a hotel room in Vienna, watching a television screen as a news anchor dismantled her reputation.

She was faced with a brutal choice: reveal the classified identities of the victims to prove her innocence, or keep the truth buried and lose her freedom. She would play the villain if it meant they could remain the heroes.
