Chapter 10 - A New Sunrise

One year later.
The morning sun cast long, beautiful golden rays across the serene garden of the Sterling farmhouse.
A light breeze rustled the leaves of the old oak tree in the center of the yard, where a handmade wooden swing gently swayed back and forth.
Sarah stood by the kitchen window, holding a warm cup of coffee, watching the scene outside with a heart brimming with profound gratitude.
On the grass, eighteen-month-old Noah was taking his first confident, running steps across the lawn, chasing a fluffy golden retriever puppy. His joyful, pure laughter echoed across the countryside.
Elias was right behind him, jogging with his arms outstretched, pretending to be a gentle monster ready to catch his son. When Elias finally swept Noah up into his arms, tossing him gently into the air, the boy shrieked with delight, wrapping his little arms tightly around his father’s neck.
Elias walked toward the porch, carrying Noah on his hip, his face filled with an unshakeable, glowing happiness.
Sarah walked out onto the wooden deck to meet them.
"Is the little adventurer ready for breakfast?" Sarah asked, reaching out to tickle Noah’s stomach.
Noah giggled, hiding his face in Elias’s shoulder. "Daddy catch!" he babbled proudly.
"Daddy will always catch you, buddy," Elias said softly, looking over the top of Noah’s head into Sarah’s eyes.
There were no more hospital sirens. No more dark conspiracies, no hidden files, and no shadows of doubt. The storm that had once threatened to tear their lives apart had only driven their roots deeper into the earth, forging a bond that nothing in this world could ever break.

Elias reached out, taking Sarah’s hand, lacing his fingers through hers.
Together, they stood on the sunlit porch, holding their son, looking out at the endless horizon of a bright, beautiful future filled with love, peace, and eternal hope.
