Two hours later, Arthur’s PR team released a single high-definition video statement across all official Vance Corporation channels.
There was no emotional pleading. No high-dramatic music.
Just a clear, high-resolution photo taken by the emergency room staff the night before: my face bruised, blood running down my neck, and the clear X-ray showing the shattered jawbone and missing tooth. Attached to the post were the official medical report signed by three board-certified physicians and the 911 call transcript from the night of the incident.
The internet came to an absolute standstill.
Within thirty minutes, the narrative flipped completely. The same comment sections that had been vilifying my father were now calling for Brandon’s arrest. Hashtags like #JusticeForRachel and #ExposeBrandon began trending globally.
Then, Arthur took it a step further.
He hired Victoria Thorne—the most ruthless, high-profile family law and criminal attorney in the state of Texas.
"Rachel," Victoria said, dropping a thick leather briefcase onto the mahogany coffee table in the study. "We aren't just going for a divorce. We're going for full legal and physical custody, a permanent protective order, and criminal charges for felony domestic assault."
